Select distribution within VBA-macros
I am trying to program a VBA-macro to automize a fitting procedure. Therefore, I would like to choose the kinds of distribution which shall be fitted to the data within this macro. However, I did not find any possibility to it so far. It always performs the fitting with the distributions selected previously as default. Does anybody know how I can change these default value(s) within a macro?

Best regards,
Dieter

Dieter,

Take a look at the online @RISK 4.5 Macros manual.

You will probably need to set values in a RiskFitType variable and use RiskFitDistributions and RiskFitGetFunction.

Re: Select distribution within VBA-macros
Vince,

I have already study the manuals quite detailed, but i did not find any hint for a solution to my problem there. The function you mentioned do not allow to acces the "Specify Distributions to Fit" menu. Thus, I am still looking for a possibility to change the settings of this menu from a VBA-macro.

Regards,
Dieter

DTS 5.5 allows what you want.
